Amnesia Lisa by NO No Swan
|
Rose found Lisa at noon. The Sun was in Zenith. She took It inside to Its room. They
spent months laying around. Lisa then formed many memories of sunlighting through
curtains. Rooms passed. Inmates of the campus changed. One night Rose drew with
Her finger marks on Lisa's back. "Ha ha like cattle" She said.
Summer.
They went to Rose's place which was on an island where they rowed to on a
rowingboat. There were pine trees and a huge raven. "He's been here longer than me"
Rose said. Lisa started painting an aquarelle a day. Many of them included the raven.
On the seventh day, Rose and Lisa stopped talking to each other.
August. They went to a beach at night. "Aaah, I can't see you, go away!" Rose
suddenly screamed. Lisa ran and ran to the rowingboat. The raven stared at It as It
rowed away.
It went back to the city. It rang the doorbell. Monstrous mother opened after a long
time. "Well you came at last, coffee's been ready for ages", she said. It went inside
and hid the portmanteau under the bed.
Growsman roamed the streets, gold watches and gold chains clinking. "He's been
asking about you" mother said stirring dough. Lisa watched and it looked like grey
flesh. "The Wedding is in November", mother continued. Lisa went to Its room and
was encountered with a quivering red mass of tulle. From behind it mother appeared
smiling with her huge mouth shining. "Go on try it on" she said.
It was taken to a tower called the Church. When Growsman kissed Lisa on the cheek,
It felt hungry pain on Its back. They were stuffed inside the car. They went to a
house on a hill with red with white flags. "Red like love, my dear" He whispered in Its
ear. He lifted It up and danced with It. Mother was smiling from beyond the hall her
mouth shining. When they arrived at Growsman's house Lisa stumbled against a wall
and went unconscious.
It woke up and checked Its hymen and under the bed and the portmanteau was
there. With all the rotten snacks from August. It grabbed the portmanteau and crawled
through the quivering corridors, where statues and paintings of old people followed It
with their heads. It locked Itself inside the attic.
It ate the rotten food. It wore smelly clothes from inside the portmanteau. It heard
Growsman crawling along the corridors and crying. He knocked on the door. Then He
went away and cried some more.
Sunlight penetrated the stained window when it was Spring and Lisa climbed
outside on the roof. Down below in the park there were ship-like black big coat people
and a Rose looking through a pile of aquarelles and crying into the air. Then Lisa
jumped down into the park.
